I've recently discovered two very interesting websites for artists and collectors.
Fine Art America touts itself as "the premier online marketplace for browsing and purchasing fine art originals and fine art prints." An interesting hook here is that the website 'knows where you live' and shows you art and artists in your region of the country. You can also choose to look at other regions. Artists may register for a free artist profile page, upload a headshot, bio and other information, and then post images of your artwork. For $30/year, you can use the print service to offer your art for sale. This is a slick website, and a great new way to promote and/or sell your artwork.
20x200 is a hip new site that offers quality art prints for $20. Founder Jen Bekman says, "there are a lot of people out there who want to sell their art and a lot of people who'd like to buy it. They just have a hard time finding each other. The Internet is the perfect place to bring those people together." Each week, two new pieces are introduced, one photo and one work on paper. Photography on 20x200 is sought out by the staff and via Jen Bekman's quarterly competition Hey, Hot Shot! Interested artists working in media other than photography may send digital samples of their work for consideration.
Use all the skills you've learned in The Painter's Guide to Photoshop to create and save images of your artwork for use on these sites.
Both of these sites offer a great way for artists to promote their work, as well as an affordable option for people who want to own fine art. Click to see these cool websites:

Hi, Sherri.
I am a member of your blog and have a gmail account under debtrotter1 ... For some reason I am unable to find an email addy for you. My ebook for The Painter's Guide to Photoshop has been corrupted. Is there a way I can reload it without having to pay for it all over again?
Thanks.
